Challenges of Transition in the Naval and Maritime Domain

For the first time the international „Conference on maritime security and defence" (MS&D) will cooperate with the German Maritime Institute (DMI).

The motto of this year's MS&D conference will be "Challenges of Transition in the Naval and Maritime Domain". In addition to current geopolitical challenges, the topics of this year's MS&D conference include the industry's technical responses to invasion threats, the handling of critical underwater infrastructures, the use of dual-use technology and the latest trends in naval shipbuilding.

In 2022 participants discussed questions like: How can navies and the maritime industry prepare for security issues such as future military and non-military threats or technological developments of manned and unmanned platforms as parts of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR)?
